Rapu-Rapu Polymetallic Project (RRPP)'s corporate social responsibility (CSR) extends beyond the borders of its host communities towards neighboring villages throughout the municipality of Rapu-Rapu and in nearby coastal areas around Albay Gulf and the province of Sorosogon. Fully cognizant of its role as a key partner in the development efforts of its surrounding communities, RRPP formally administers its CSR under the Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP) through the Public Relations and Corporate Affairs (PRCA) office. On top of the mandatory Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) that benefits the impact areas as determined by the project's Environmental Impact Studies (EIS), RRPP's CDAP undertakes and supports projects and programs always in partnership with local government unit, relevant government agencies, and private and civic organizations on the ground. Beyond compliance and on a voluntary basis, RRPP provides funds, logistics support, and manpower skills to implement CDAP programs guided by the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (UNMDG) and the needs of the residents.
