Born in Bombay, raised in Jamshedpur, India and schooled at Little Flower School, Telco .... life has taken me on a wonderful ride through the halls of medicine on the banks of the Ganges in Patna, India to the laboratories of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and the research departments on the other side of the world in Massachusets General Hospital and Harvard Medical School ... to the sick beds of paupers and princes at George Washington University Hospital, Washington DC....I now work as a General Practitioner & Internist in Herndon, Virginia, in addition to serving as the Chairman of the Dept. of Medicine at HCA Columbia Reston Hospt., Reston Virginia as well as the Medical Director for Heartland Hospice, Fairfax Virginia.

I am supported in the work I do by the wonderful staff and employees of my practice, The Iyer Clinic that servbes the communities of Herndon, Reston, Centerville and Chantilly from our office located at 13505 Dulles Technology Drive, Suite 1A, Herndon, VA.
