SAN JOSÉ, CA — Parents in Willow Glen will soon have a new place to connect, reflect, and grow together. The Center for Spiritual Living San José is launching a Spiritual Parenting Discussion Group beginning Saturday, April 25, offering a supportive monthly gathering for parents seeking deeper, spiritually grounded approaches to raising children of all ages.
The group will be facilitated by Rev. Jennifer Bick, Staff Minister at the Center for Spiritual Living San José. Rev. Bick brings years of experience in spiritual education, youth ministry, and community facilitation, creating a welcoming environment where parents can share openly and learn from one another.
Meeting on the last Saturday of each month, the group will explore themes from the book 10 Principles for Spiritual Parenting by Mimi Doe and Dr. Marsha Walch. Parents do not need to read the book to participate; all discussion materials will be provided.

Rev. Bick notes that spiritual parenting isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence, intention, and connection. The group aims to help parents strengthen those qualities in themselves and their families.

Summer Solstice Labyrinth Walk Returns to CSL San José on June 20SAN JOSE, CA — As the longest day of the year approaches, the Center for Spiritual Living San José is inviting the community to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the light within. On Saturday, June 20, 2026, CSL San José will host its annual Summer Solstice: Walking the Labyrinth event from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., led by Rev. Maureen Ross.
The seasonal gathering has become a cherished tradition for many who seek a moment of reflection and renewal. Participants walk the outdoor labyrinth as a meditative practice, using the winding path as a metaphor for tending their inner landscape.
“Summer Solstice is a powerful time to honor the light — both around us and within us,” said Rev. Ross. “Walking the labyrinth helps us align with the creative energy of the season, set intentions, and release what no longer serves.”
The experience includes guided reflection, quiet walking meditation, and space for personal intention‑setting. Attendees often describe the event as grounding, peaceful, and surprisingly transformative.
The event will be held at Center for Spiritual Living San José, located at 1195 Clark Street.
Cost is $25 per person, and advance registration is encouraged.
