My interest in astrology began in the same way as many others - I read my horoscope every day.  Then I wanted to know MORE.  I devoured books - Linda Goodman, Steven Forrest, Rob Hand - but I had questions.  So I joined astrology online chat groups (this was way before Facebook, when you had to go into a chat room to connect with others!), and became fascinated by the science & art of astrology that others discussed, learning that what I knew only scratched the surface.  I took a correspondence course with Glenn Perry, founder and President of the Academy of AstroPsychology (AAP).  It was very informative, but I still wanted more.  I realized I wanted a formal education, which led me to the Astrology Institute, where I studied under renowned teacher, author & astrologer, Joseph Crane.  I learned everything from practical applications to consulting skills.  After graduating from their 2-year program, I got my National Certification from the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) & I've been giving client consultations  & teaching classes ever since.  When you break it down into the clearest terms - the language of astrology is a mirror of human behavior.  Knowledge is power.  The more you know about yourself, the better equipped you are to make the best choices for yourself & your life.  Being able to share this insight & help others fulfill their potential is more rewarding than words can express.  I practice & teach at The Open Doors Learning & Healing Center in Braintree (781) 843-8224 - www.opendoors7.com .  I know now that I was born to do this.  After all I'm a Virgo, the sign of service to others  :) www.facebook.com/RobinCurtinAstrologer
