Ron Onesti, Neighbor

With three decades in the entertainment industry, Ron Onesti is a producer of more than 200 shows/events each year. Bringing live concerts to the Arcada with Hollywood icons like Mickey Rooney, Jerry Lewis and Don Rickles...and stars like Bret Michaels, Martin Short and Kenny Loggins, Ron is a coveted industry professional who has long been committed to community development as well.

He is on the board of directors of the St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau and has offices at the Arcada Theatre, 105 E. Main Street in downtown St. Charles. He has been honored with the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce Civic Image award and the Downtown St. Charles Partnership's Downtown Pride award. He enjoys visiting local schools to share his experiences in the industry, and he is a frequent contributor to area culinary events, including Geneva's 60 Men Who Cook, and Grand Victoria Casino's Prime Burger competition.

He has restored the Arcada Theatre, built in 1926, to its original splendor and opens its doors to community organizations for theatrical productions, fundraisers, celebrations and tours.

Producing Chicago's Taylor Street Festival, drawing up to 50,000 guests each summer, Festa Pasta Vino...and West Suburban Festa Italiana in Addison, Ron honors history, culture, tradition and progress in the Italian American community.

Ron lives in Wood Dale with his wife Elena and their daughter, Giulliana.
