Sara Edge, Neighbor

I am a world traveler who recently moved to the Bay Area. I have a Ph.D. in Marine Biology and Biochemistry and have studied ocean health, specifically coral reefs, across the world for over a decade. After moving to California, I started working in the arts developing a new line of wearable art and mixed media pieces. I find my passion working with metal, wood
 and glass, which are tied to the earth and composed of natural elements. I specialize in small sculpture art and jewelry, as well as woodworking and paintings. My work reflects a love of ocean life, nature and fantasy. I strongly advocate for protecting the environment and have studied ocean health for over 15 years. My work has been featured at Studio 23 in Alameda, CA (2015, 1016), as well as several other galleries and events across the Bay Area and San Francisco. I recently opened a new art studio (3Dot Art Gallery) in Alameda with my partner, who is an established artist and designer. I love Alameda and the welcoming, accepting nature of everyone I have met since living here. I have made a lot of wonderful, new friends in the area.
