South Carolina Associations of Habitat Affiliates , Neighbor

Established in 2012, South Carolina Association of Habitat for Humanity Affiliates is a nonprofit Christian housing organization that brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. The state support organization expands the capacity of the local affiliates through advocacy, training, resource development, as well as disaster preparedness and recovery. Serving 36 counties across the South Carolina, Habitat affiliates have built over 2,800 new homes, repaired 800+ houses, served and housed 10,000+ children and adults, and invested over $200M in affordable housing since 1978. An analysis of Habitat for Humanity’s impact in South Carolina during the 2017 fiscal year concluded that the estimated total economic impact was $50,500,000.
