Sarah Preston, Neighbor

Sarah was born and raised in the South Bay Area where she attended Santa Clara University and graduated with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Environmental Science. Shortly after graduating from university she met her future husband Tim Preston and moved to Marin county. While living in Marin she fell in love with Sonoma county on visits to her in-law’s vineyards, Preston Farm and Winery, and to her horse which was boarded in Penngrove.

In 2007 Sarah and her husband finally made the move up to Sonoma County and have never regretted their decision. While living in Petaluma, Sarah finished her second degree in Interior Architecture and Design. She feels that real estate combines both her love of people and architecture. Sarah’s goal is to create the best possible experience with her clients knowing that buying and selling homes is a stressful time she wants to make it as pain free as possible.

Sarah has a strong competitive drive that can be seen throughout her life. As a teenager and young adult she was heavily involved with Dressage competitions. Later she became involved with motorcycles and raced in various clubs throughout the west. Sarah is also strongly passionate about sustainability education and volunteers at the California Native Garden Society in San Jose.

Sarah knows that Sonoma County is as diverse as the people who live here; from the dairy farms in Petaluma to the south, north to the wine country around Healdsburg and all points in between.
