Susan Simcoe, Neighbor

Growing up in Manitoba, Canada Susan began her musical training at the age of 6 with formal piano lessons and she learned quickly that music was her passion. Furthering her passion she joined her first choir at 10 and never looked back. She has Bachelor of Arts in Music from Candian Mennonite University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba in Canada.

She has 25 years of choral experience, 7 of which she taught public high school choir in Canada where she directed several choirs including Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Vocal Jazz Ensembles. Her passion for choral music never waned but after moving to Georgia and having her children she realized that music for young children was equally as important. As she watched her own little ones respond to and explore music on their own, she saught out a program she could teach that would bring rich and beautiful music into homes where familes could share music together.

Susan is a licensed Center Director of Melody Makers Music Together in Buford Georgia. Susan, her husband and 2 young children live in Suwanee Georgia and love the weather and especially fall in Georgia.
