Madden Gallery at the Museum of Outdoor Arts

Please join us for the opening reception of our latest indoor exhibition at the Madden Gallery at MOA, "VIEWFINDERS" on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 5:00 - 8:00PM. This event is free and open to the public. We will have a hosted bar with complimentary beer and wine for MOA members, as well as a full bar with beverages for purchase and complimentary hors d'oeuvres for all guests. Also enjoy live music by <a href="https://www.wirewood-station.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">WireWood Station</a>&nbsp;throughout the event.VIEWFINDERS is a large-scale photography exhibition featuring more than 100 works by historic and contemporary artists, including 22 rare Edward S. Curtis photogravures on loan from the Denver Public Library. The exhibition opens August 14, 2026 at MOA’s Madden Gallery in Greenwood Village and remains on view through October 23, 2026.
Presented as part of MOA’s 2026 Americana-themed programming commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood, VIEWFINDERS explores the evolving visual identity of the American West through photography spanning more than a century.
In addition to photography, VIEWFINDERS will feature antique cameras displayed as sculptural objects throughout the gallery, further exploring the history of image-making and visual storytelling.

Watch Marjorie Park transform into a magical night of music and dancing under the open sky at our Marjorie Park LIVE Summer Concert Series! These concerts provide an opportunity to experience your favorite bands in an intimate, open-air setting, surrounded by stunning the stunning sculpture gardens and the art filled beauty of Marjorie Park.
In addition to the concert, your ticket includes full access to Marjorie Park, including sculptures, gardens, yard games, dancing on the Labyrinth, a full bar, food trucks, vendors, and concessions. Picnics are also welcome (outside beverages are not permitted.)
Seating is limited. Guests are invited to use our MOA chairs (limited), or bring a chair or blanket and get comfortable as the park comes alive with music under the Summer sky!

ABOUT&nbsp;SHANNAShanna in a Dress says what everyone has felt but no one else will say and you’ll get an uncensored journey of clever humor and heartbreak, extreme candor, and a hefty side of entertainment at her shows. This witty wordsmith is known for taking you on an emotional roller coaster, sometimes within the same song. Think John Prine mixed with Ingrid Michaelson with a twist of Phoebe Buffay from Friends all wrapped up in a sweet voice accented by guitar, piano, and ukulele. She’s as real as it gets, as anyone who follows her on Facebook or Instagram knows.
Shanna started her career at the University of Virginia, lived in Boulder for nearly a decade and now keeps her fun music flowing out of St. Louis unless she’s touring the US or Europe. You can’t get the same Shanna in a Dress show twice with her spontaneous banter and playful stage presence. She manages to teeter the line masterfully of taking on complex subject matters with smart, bold, and yet accessible lyrics. Her charisma and boldly honest songs are full of interesting language and wordplay and delight audiences of all ages.
In 2020 alone, Shanna was a winner in the Kerrville New Folk competition, winner of the Great River Folk Fest Song Competition, a finalist at Songwriter Serenade, and a Grassy Hill Emerging Artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. During the summer of 2021, Shanna bicycled from Seattle to Boston while music-touring on her epic “Tour de Dress,” playing over 60 shows from coast to coast and partnering up with the global non-profit Pangaea World Foundation.
In May 2022, her debut record “Robot” was released after a wildly successful crowdfunding campaign. She has most recently been seen gracing the stages of the Kerrville Folk Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Black Bear Americana Fest, Great River Folk Fest, and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
