Novato Chamber of Commerce, Neighbor

Founded in 1915, the Novato Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in the development of the North Bay communities. With over 100 dedicated years of service, Novato's Chamber of Commerce has stood as an advocate for the residents, their families, and the business of North Marin. It was instrumental in helping push through events such as the Great Depression and was critical in the construction of the first roads, railways and transportation projects that connected the North Marin communities with other centers of trade. In the 1930's the Chamber was one of the first organization to support and aid in the building of the infamous Golden Gate Bridge--a project that would change traffic and trade patterns for the entire Bay Area.

Today, the Chamber of Commerce works tirelessly to continue its long legacy and through legislative advocacy, business resources and community involvement the Chamber hopes to promote the entirety of Novato and the North Bay for its businesses and its residences. Families find the North Bay community of Novato to be picturesque from its walk-able downtown to its beautiful country hillsides to its waterfront communities and the Chamber is proud to support all of those who choose to call Novato their home.
