Braintree Rotary Club, Neighbor

Braintree Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, a service organization that provides local, national and international humanitarian aid. Clubs are organized into districts throughout the world. Each club develops their own service projects and where appropriate, may join with other clubs to support global efforts. Started in 1905 by Paul Harris of Chicago, IL, Rotary International has grown to have a presence in all but a handful of countries throughout the world. Rotary International has led the effort to eradicate polio, provide clean potable water in undeveloped countries and provides support for basic education and literacy worldwide.
