A simple, creative practice, using imagery and text, SoulCollage ® can assist in the journey towards a more felt connection with God. Many in traditional religious settings long for this relationship, but need more tools. SoulCollage®is an accessible, doable practice that can reveal a wellspring of feeling, insight, and connection to the Divine.
We will explore our relationship with the saints and scripture in a fun and supportive environment, sharing this process and how it can deepen our faith. No experience is required and all supplies are provided.
Many themes have been explored with&nbsp; SoulCollage ® including Saints, scripture passages, and psalms. This one day workshop will offer the opportunity to explore your&nbsp; relationship with God and one another and how you&nbsp; can deepen your faith/prayer practice.
The day will begin with Mass at 9 AM. Check in and coffee with be at 10 AM in Angell Hall . Lunch served in the dining of the Enders House, an early 20th century arts and crafts style mansion and the oldest structure on the island. The day will conclude at approximately 3 PM.

This workshop will introduce and teach the students the basic technique, tools and materials involved in creating a mosaic artwork. This workshop covers design/layout, cutting material, adhesives, substrates, and grouting. Students will be introduced to the direct method with a&nbsp;variety of materials and encouraged to experiment with color and texture to discover the possibilities of mosaic. The theme and design maquette will be provided by the instructor, your own idea design is welcome and eventually adjust with time frame, difficulty, and your ability. Upon choose the design students will cut and prepare the tesserae, learn how to interpretate the design and will create a 8x8 inch mosaic artwork to take home at the end of this one-week workshop.
This week-long workshop’s studio time lasts five consecutive days. Check-in begins Sunday night at 4:30 PM, followed by dinner at 5:30 PM for students and instructors. Dinner will be followed by a workshop introduction and conference, ending at 9:00 PM. Hands-on instruction begins early Monday morning, and the entire workshop ends Friday at 1 PM. Materials will be provided.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has dominated the news and the world of technology. This Day of Recollection will invite you to go to another and deeper place where you will discover "Spiritual Intelligence." Jesus, who is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, shows us what is "Real Intelligence," giving us principles for living a fuller and more meaningful life.
We invite you to join us for Holy Mass in the Chapel at 9 AM. Check in will begin at 9:45. Coffee, tea and pastries will be available.&nbsp; &nbsp;Your day will include a&nbsp; hot lunch&nbsp; served at 12:30 in the dining hall of the Enders House, an early 20th century arts and crafts style mansion and the oldest structure on the island.

Join us for an inspiring day as you take a guided tour through a breathtaking dahlia garden, where beauty and grace bloom in harmony. This peaceful day will be a chance to admire the vibrant variety of dahlias and how they are cultivated.
The tour will begin with an introduction to the history of Enders Island and the gardens, followed by a walk through the dahlia garden led by our own dahlia caretaker. You’ll learn about the different varieties, their growth cycles and general care.&nbsp;
The morning tour will be followed by a delightful lunch in the Arts and Craft style Main House. The afternoon tour will join the morning attendees for lunch. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal as you share in conversation and fellowship.&nbsp;
This day promises to be both a visual and spiritual feast, offering moments of reflection, learning, and rest in the beauty of nature.

Praying With a Brush is a one-day workshop for iconographers interested in learning the basic brush skills necessary to paint an icon. You will start with a repertoire of basic calligraphic brush strokes and practice exercises using only ink and a brush. Using traditional, art historical Orthodox icons as models, you will be taught to make your own drawings. After placing an acetate transparency over the model, you will rediscover, line by line, the icon’s inner geometry, balance, order, and structure.
You will continue onto the more painterly process of modeling soft passages of tone using a dry brush technique. Using the instructor’s prepared models and exercises, you will practice creating the icon’s characteristic inner glow, building a ramp from dark to light with many transparent layers, finally reaching a bright opacity.
As you work, you will pray in a familiar way to the holy person represented in the icon. With each brush stroke, you will repeat the prayer “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.” Based on the prayer of the repentant publican in Luke 18:9, this practice is a cornerstone of Eastern Orthodox piety. While writing an icon, it quiets your mind and focuses your hand, and can be used as a way to pray without ceasing outside of icon painting.
This workshop can be taken on its own, or as preparation for the Essentials of Iconography workshop. It is applicable to all schools of icon painting, in all mediums.
You are welcome to start your day with Mass at 9 AM. Check in and coffee with be at 10 AM in the Sacred Art Studio.
Lunch served in the dining of the Enders House, an early 20th century arts and crafts style mansion and the oldest structure on the island.
The day will conclude at approximately 6 PM.
