The morning of May 9th will be a busy one at Baxter’s Pond!&nbsp; Please join the Baxter's Pond Foundation (BPF)&nbsp;at 9 am for a Clean Up Event to pick up litter, do some planting, and make our park beautiful. All ages welcome!&nbsp;&nbsp;Meet at the flagpole in comfortable clothing; gloves and garbage bags provided. At 10 am, the native-landscaping professionals from Spadefoot Design &amp; Construction will provide volunteers with hands-on training in how to maintain the new native plantings at Baxter’s Pond while keeping invasives from making a comeback. This will be valuable information for taking care of your own home gardens as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;Come for one or both events!&nbsp;&nbsp;Follow BPF&nbsp;on Facebook and Instagram. The Cradle of Aviation Museum is proud to present an event that is a pure celebration of all things comic book culture. It is an opportunity for comic readers to meet and greet local comic book creators, for collectors on the hunt for rare books and toys to shop with some of the best vendors, for cosplayers to gather and celebrate their favorite fandoms, and for retro gamers to get their game on.
This spectacular yet intimate experience allows fans of all ages to gather, socialize, and share their passion for what they love. It’s also a great day out for families, with activities for kids throughout the event.
