• College student sentenced to jail, probation for sending 16-year-old girl money for explicit images (abc4.com) — A University of Utah student has been sentenced after Cedar City police uncovered that he paid a 16-year-old girl for explicit images, a case that began with a domestic dispute call in the city. The judge imposed a suspended prison term, nearly a year in jail with credit for time served, four years of probation, and sex offender registration, following an undercover investigation by Cedar City officers.
