(utahstories.com) — A new off-grid homesteading community called Riverbed Ranch sits a long gravel-road drive past Delta, where about 40 families are building self-reliant lives on 1,250 acres of reclaimed desert. Residents, many LDS and experienced homesteaders, are trading city taxes and congestion for solar power, well water, livestock, and a tight-knit, pioneer-style community that’s still very much a work in progress.
