• Draper woman fights to get Turo host booted after making fraudulent rental car damage claims against her (ksl.com) — A Draper woman says a Turo host falsely accused her of tire and smoking damage, then used an old Reddit photo to support his claim, leading to hundreds in charges. After she gathered photo evidence and contacted media, Turo reversed the charges and says such fraudulent hosts can be removed, offering a cautionary lesson for Draper renters to document vehicles carefully.
   

• Utah Guard, Morocco strengthen partnership during Maroc Mantlet 2026 (army.mil) — Utah National Guard members based in Draper are partnering with Morocco’s military in a large-scale disaster-response exercise shaped by recent floods there. The training, part of a 13-year state partnership, focuses on complex rescue, medical, and hazardous-materials scenarios so Utah and Moroccan teams can better coordinate during future crises at home and abroad.
