• Rescue crews respond after motorcyclist plummets 30 feet into Hurricane ravine (gephardtdaily.com) — Emergency crews in Hurricane responded Monday night after a motorcyclist missed a turn near Quail Creek Reservoir and tumbled about 30 feet into a ravine. Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue and Hurricane City Police helped rescue and transport the seriously injured rider, who was wearing a helmet, to St. George Regional Hospital.
   

• Oklahoma State basketball adds Anthony Felesi to 2026 recruiting class (oklahoman.com) — A standout basketball player from Hurricane 6-foot-5 wing Anthony Felesi, has committed to play for Oklahoma State’s 2026 recruiting class after decommitting from Pitt. • Hurricane Valley Fire responds to multiple fires since open burning season closed (kutv.com) — Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue has handled three fires since open burning season ended March 31, including a garage fire in La Verkin and a brush fire near 4400 W State Street in Hurricane. Officials say all were accidental and tied to weed burning, caused property damage but no injuries, and are urging residents to stop burning now that the season is closed.
