Authorities say the alleged network produced and used fake or stolen identity and immigration documents, with local homes searched and multiple victims’ personal information compromised.
   

• Region 9 football: Snow Canyon shocks Hurricane; Pine View survives; Crimson rolls (stgeorgeutah.com) — Hurricane High’s football team suffered its first loss of the season in a one-point thriller at Snow Canyon, tightening the Region 9 title race. Pine View edged Desert Hills in a high-scoring battle, while Crimson Cliffs shut out Dixie, creating a three-way tie atop the standings with Hurricane still very much in the hunt.
   

• Responders say 45-year-old man sustained 'serious injuries' in Long Valley dirt bike crash (stgeorgeutah.com) — Emergency crews from Hurricane Valley Fire District and other agencies responded Friday to a serious dirt bike crash in the Long Valley area, airlifting a 45-year-old man to St. George Regional Hospital. While his current condition isn’t known, officials used the incident to remind Hurricane-area riders to wear full protective gear, maintain their bikes and slow down in unfamiliar terrain.
