📰 News we're reading

• How Southern Utah Became Tied To A Child Abuse Case (newsradio1310.com) — Ivins is back in the national spotlight as a new Netflix documentary revisits the Jodi Hildebrandt and Ruby Franke child abuse case centered in an Ivins mansion. The film contrasts Southern Utah's stunning scenery with the disturbing crimes, leaving many locals frustrated and exhausted that their quiet community is again tied to such a dark story.

• Presidents Cup star Koivun set for encore this week at PGA Tour event in Utah (miamiherald.com) — A major pro golf spotlight is on Ivins this week as the Bank of Utah Championship tees off at Black Desert Resort, featuring rising Presidents Cup star Jackson Koivun. Locals can expect a more relaxed atmosphere than international team play, but still high‑level competition and likely low scores on the scenic course that's drawing national attention to Ivins.
