• Dad and daughter crushed by bulldozer that rolled off truck, driver failed to secure it (lawandcrime.com) — A towing company owner based in Marriott-Slaterville has been sentenced to prison after a bulldozer he was hauling came loose in Ogden Canyon and fatally crushed a Utah business leader and his teenage daughter. Investigators say the driver failed to properly secure the heavy equipment and then tried to rearrange chains after the crash, leading to multiple convictions and a multi-year sentence.
