• California National Guardsman accused of trying to rape 13-year-old girl in Utah (kutv.com) — Police arrested a California National Guardsman after he allegedly arranged online to meet a person he believed was a 13-year-old girl at a predetermined location in Murray. Investigators say an undercover Utah officer posed as the child, intercepted him when he arrived by rideshare, and booked him into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail on serious felony charges.
   

• Criminal charges possible after road rage causes rollover crash on I-215 (fox13now.com) — A high-speed road rage incident on westbound I-215 in Murray ended with a Dodge Charger rolling into a ditch near the I-15 interchange and two children hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries. Utah Highway Patrol says prosecutors will review the case to determine whether to file road rage-related criminal charges against either or both drivers involved.
