• Monticello sweeps region meet (sjrnews.com) — Monument Valley High’s boys and girls track teams turned in solid performances at the Region 19 meet, with several Cougar athletes qualifying for the state championships at BYU May 15–16. Local runners and throwers from Monument Valley, Whitehorse, and Monticello all earned top-three finishes, giving Oljato-Monument Valley families plenty to cheer about as their students head to state.
