- The health insurance provider that covers Utah's public employees will give incentives — up to $250 each — to workers and their family members who get vaccinated against COVID-19. Governor Spencer Cox announced Thursday that the incentive plan being implemented by PEHP will start today. There's also a $50 incentive for those who get COVID-19 booster shots. (Salt Lake Tribune)
- The Salt Lake Police Department is searching for Jonathan Myers, 45, who went missing from a group home in the area of 900 S. 300 East. The SLPD's Facebook post says "Jonathan is endangered due to a diminished mental capacity and required medications." Myers is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. - Police have arrested Mohamed Dahir Zubeir, 29, as the suspect in a South Jordan shooting that sent woman to the hospital Monday night. (KUTV 2News)
- The Utah Housing Coalition is worried about heightened eviction filings and the low awareness of emergency rental assistance to help those who cannot make rent. (KUTV 2News)
- 29-year-old Samuel S. Roberts of Salt Lake City died in a crash east of Rock Springs, Wyoming, on Tuesday. (Gephardt Daily)
