Here are the top stories in Salt Lake City today and the surrounding communities:

1. The health insurance provider that covers Utah's public employees will give incentives — up to $250 each — to workers and their family members who get vaccinated against COVID-19. Governor Spencer Cox announced Thursday that the incentive plan being implemented by PEHP will start today. There's also a $50 incentive for those who get COVID-19 booster shots. (Salt Lake Tribune)
2. The Salt Lake Police Department is searching for Jonathan Myers, 45, who went missing from a group home in the area of 900 S. 300 East. The SLPD's Facebook post says "Jonathan is endangered due to a diminished mental capacity and required medications." Myers is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. 3. Police have arrested Mohamed Dahir Zubeir, 29, as the suspect in a South Jordan shooting that sent woman to the hospital Monday night. (KUTV 2News)
4. The Utah Housing Coalition is worried about heightened eviction filings and the low awareness of emergency rental assistance to help those who cannot make rent. (KUTV 2News)
5. 29-year-old Samuel S. Roberts of Salt Lake City died in a crash east of Rock Springs, Wyoming, on Tuesday. (Gephardt Daily)
