  1. A Salt Lake City man was taken into custody overnight after he allegedly threatened a group of people with a saw and used it to cut a man in the face. Samuel Hubble, 32, was arrested for aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and obstruction of justice. Just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, police say Hubble was walking with a cordless saw near the area of 200 South and 300 East when he came into contact with a group walking a dog. (fox13now.com)
  2. Older Salt Lake City buildings and homes are at risk of major earthquake damage. During a video shared during the most recent session of the General Conference, Russell M. Nelson provided a glimpse of the extensive renovation being done on the Salt Lake Temple. Nelson continued by suggesting that the passage of time has had a bit of a predictable result for the foundation of a building built almost entirely by hand in the pioneer days. (ABC 4)
  3. Utah Arts Alliance is moving its Art Castle plan forward by acquiring a 121-year-old church building. (Salt Lake Tribune)
