• Man sentenced to jail after causing crash that killed passenger after racing on the freeway (ksl.com) — A teenage boy from Santaquin, 15-year-old James Munoz, was killed in a 2022 freeway racing crash whose driver has now been sentenced to 180 days in jail and three years’ probation. The judge called the case deeply tragic, while prosecutors cited extreme speeds over 150 mph; Munoz’s family, however, did not want the driver to face harsh charges.
