• Utah's Tooele Valley Seeks Public Input on Long-Range Transportation Plan (cyclingwest.com) — Tooele Valley residents are being asked to help shape a long-range transportation plan that will guide roads, transit, biking, and walking through 2055, including projects in Tooele City. You can review an interactive project map, comment through Nov. 22, and attend an open house Nov. 12 at the Tooele County Building Auditorium on Main Street.
   

• North Tooele Fire District welcomes Chief Brett Nash (tooeleonline.com) — North Tooele Fire District has hired veteran firefighter Brett Nash as its new chief, bringing nearly three decades of experience in emergency response and leadership. He’ll guide efforts to protect residents, strengthen preparedness, and support a growing Tooele-area community as the district continues expanding its services and partnerships.
   

• Grantsville resident arrested following sexual assault incident (tooeleonline.com) — A Grantsville man was arrested on suspicion of rape and public intoxication after an alleged assault reported near East Main and Willow streets, then booked into Tooele County Jail. Police say the victim withdrew consent when the suspect was intoxicated, and court proceedings began Oct. 19, with more updates expected as the case moves forward.
