• ‘It is spreading fast': Officials work to stop growth of an invasive weed in Washington County (abc4.com) — An invasive weed called African (Sahara) Mustard has been found at Toquerville Falls, and county weed officials are asking Toquerville-area residents to help spot and report it. The fast-spreading plant threatens native vegetation and increases fire risk across Washington County, so crews and volunteers are treating affected areas and planning drop-off kiosks where people can bring in any plants they pull.
