• Zion Shores surf community project draws questions about water use (byu.edu) — A large surf-lagoon community is rising in Washington using brackish well water instead of city culinary supplies under a negotiated agreement with Washington City. Residents and a water-policy analyst are questioning evaporation, long-term water use, and whether that groundwater could serve other purposes.
