• Law enforcement Torch Run kicks off for Special Olympics Vermont (wcax.com) — Bennington will be one of four Vermont communities where the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics kicks off on Tuesday, leading to opening ceremonies at St. Michael’s College on Friday. The annual fundraiser brings together officers and athletes to raise awareness and support for Special Olympics Vermont, with 300 competitors set to play basketball and bocce this weekend.
