ā¢ Road construction: Making the ends meet is getting harder (vermontbiz.com) ā A long-planned reconstruction and widening of U.S. 7 between Brandon and Pittsford remains on Vermontās wish list but is considered too expensive to move forward right now. State transportation officials describe a deep funding shortfall thatās delaying many major projects, while other big road and bridge jobs elsewhere in Vermont inch ahead or near completion.
