  1. A standoff in the city's North End on Wednesday afternoon has been resolved. Burlington Police Acting Chief Jon Murad reports the matter was resolved without any injuries or use of weapons; the man was brought to a local hospital for evaluation. (WCAX)
  2. The city of Burlington plans to become a net-zero city — one that doesn't use fossil fuels at all — by 2030.
