• Burlington Airport holds mock plane crash exercise (wcax.com) — Emergency crews and volunteers converged on Burlington's Patrick Leahy International Airport for a full-scale mock plane crash drill, testing how well first responders and UVM Medical Center handle a mass-casualty crisis. The FAA-required exercise let firefighters, medics, and hospital staff practice communication, triage, and treatment so they're better prepared if a real disaster ever strikes Burlington.
