- The University of Vermont has announced the Vermont Clean and Resilient Energy Consortium. This consortium will seek funding for research and development related to clean energy. The project is a joint effort between dozens of manufacturing companies, local governments, Vermont higher education institutions, and many non-governmental organizations. (Vermont Biz)
- The United States Court in Burlington has sentenced former University of Vermont ER doctor Eike Blohm, 39-years-old, to 100 months in prison. The doctor was charged with one count of possessing child pornography. The case began after an employee found a hidden camera in a unisex bathroom in the University of Vermont Medical Center's Emergency Department. (Department of Justice)
- Burlington's Sotto Enoteca reopens its doors after two years. The wine bar is located at 150 St. Paul Street and announced its reopening via its Facebook page. The announcement promised limited reservations. (Seven Days)
