• School merger study ready to launch in central Vermont (timesargus.com) — East Montpelier families should watch a new regional school merger study that includes U-32 and a proposed $54.9 million bond for a Central Vermont Career Center satellite on the U-32 East Montpelier campus. A state-mandated committee will begin meeting in Montpelier next week to explore possible district consolidations, high school tuitioning, and facility changes that could reshape where local students learn in coming years.
