• The legislative session has ended: Here's what happened on the education front (thevermontstandard.com) — Hartland families should know that a major statewide school reform bill will treat potential mergers for the Hartland and neighboring districts as voluntary, not mandatory. The same legislation also extends a key deadline for exempting certain school construction debt from per-pupil spending limits, which MVSU leaders say moves the region, including Hartland, closer to a new middle and high school building.
