• Flood-damaged Sam's Steakhouse in Ludlow demolished following FEMA buyout (wcax.com) — Sam's Steakhouse in Ludlow, heavily damaged in the July 2023 floods, is now being demolished after a FEMA-funded buyout and purchase by the town. Crews are clearing the Route 103 site along the Black River, while officials weigh future, state-approved uses for the vulnerable floodplain parcel.
