"Visiting Mr. Green", By Jeff Baron, starring Michael Sola as Mr. Green, and Randy Lichtenwalner as Ross Gardner, directed by Bob Marcus, Tiny Theater. This amazing play is a story about two people who discover that beneath our differences, there is something remarkably—and sometimes painfully—human that connects us all.

An unexpected relationship forces two men from profoundly different generations and worlds to confront the prejudices, fears, disappointments, and private truths that have shaped their lives. What begins with resistance and suspicion gradually becomes something far more complicated: an encounter in which judgment gives way to recognition, and two strangers begin to see the human being behind the assumptions.

Funny, provocative, and deeply affecting, Visiting Mr. Green asks questions that reach well beyond the walls of the theater. Can compassion survive our deepest prejudices? And what happens when we are forced to confront the possibility that the person we have judged is not so different from ourselves?

Tiny Theater’s acting ensemble of professionally trained actors and performers brings a rigorous commitment to truthful, deeply human storytelling.

Drawing upon the great traditions of modern American actor training, the ensemble pursues performance grounded in truth, imagination, character, vulnerability, and genuine human connection. Through disciplined ensemble work and a belief in living truthfully on stage, Tiny Theater invites audiences not simply to watch a play, but to confront something of themselves in the lives of its characters.

This is not simply a story about two men learning to understand one another. It is a story about what happens when our certainties begin to crack—and when, through that opening, the possibility of human connection emerges.
Come expecting a compelling evening of theater. Leave with something to think about.

One of the most popular works of the 18th century, Giovanni Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater offers a profound meditation on grief, empathy, and love. The gorgeous vocal lines are at turns soaring and intricate, supported by dramatic yet transparent writing for strings. The second half of our program will feature a selection of virtuosic Italian arias from Handel’s Giulio Cesare.

New York City comes to New Hampshire this November when Nona’s Supper Club, a hilarious, heartfelt, and highly interactive new musical, makes its New Hampshire debut at the historic Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center in Plymouth.
With only three performances - Saturday, November 21 at 2 PM and 7 PM, and Sunday, November 22 at 2 PM audiences are invited to step into the world of the Abalafia family and become part of the action as their story unfolds.
A Family. A Legacy. A Musical. You’re Invited.
Nona’s Supper Club is a comedic, campy new musical about a New York City family-owned restaurant on the brink of disaster. At the center of the story is Twyla, a determined grandchild who is trying to convince their grandmother, Millie “Nona” Abalafia, to retire and save the family business. But what begins as a seemingly straightforward plan quickly becomes complicated by long-buried secrets, romantic entanglements, family rivalries, and one very questionable chef.
The audience are invited guests at the family’s reopening celebration, interacting directly with the characters and becoming part of the evening as the family’s carefully constructed plans begin to unravel.
Rather than simply watching from the sidelines, audience members have opportunities to engage with the characters and influence the energy of the evening. The result is a lively, spontaneous theatrical experience where every performance has the potential to be a little different.
Featuring an electrifying original score ranging from infectious pop anthems to show-stopping ballads, Nona’s Supper Club is a joyous and heartfelt musical about family, identity, love, memory, and how far we’ll go to save the people — and the places — we call home.
“Heartfelt, funny, immersive, and delicious—the kind of experience that reminds you why live theatre (and family dinners) matter. We went expecting a fun evening and left feeling like family.”— Nicole Steinthal, NS Lifestyles
“A hilarious and poignant multigenerational tale of love, legacy, and letting go.”
