📰 News we're reading
• Vermont comes together for Smashing Pumpkins, literally (mynbc5.com) — A popular pumpkin-chucking festival in nearby Stowe is directly supporting Morrisville this year, with all admission fees going to the Clarina Howard Nichols Center, which works to end domestic and sexual violence in Lamoille County. Despite rainy weather, competitors of all ages launched pumpkins hundreds of feet, while visitors browsed dozens of food and craft vendors and enjoyed extra activities on the Stowe Events Field.
