• 'A shock to the system': ID of Vermont angler found in CT after 25 years missing brings closure (ctpost.com) — A Mount Holly man, 44-year-old Terry Brinegar, died in a 2001 fishing accident on the Connecticut River, and his friend’s remains have only now been identified through DNA. The friend, Hartland mechanic Brian Canfield, was presumed drowned after their boat was found empty near Sumner Falls. Advances in forensics finally brought closure to Canfield’s family this month.
