• RuralEdge Opens 40 Affordable Rentals at Newport Crossing (northstarmonthly.com) — Newport residents now have 40 new affordable and mixed-income apartments at the freshly opened Newport Crossing, split between a renovated former convent in the city and new buildings in Newport Center. RuralEdge and state housing partners also plan to stabilize the former Sacred Heart School soon, with an eye toward adding 32 more homes starting in 2027.
