• Drug raid in Waterbury yields arrests (timesargus.com) — A Northfield woman, 42-year-old Ashley Brooks, is facing a cocaine possession charge tied to a September traffic stop in Waterbury and was scheduled for arraignment in Washington Superior Court in Barre. Her arrest followed a major State Police drug task force operation on Union Street in Waterbury, which also involved a helicopter and is linked to an earlier case against the vehicle’s driver.
