• One-vehicle crash knocks down telephone pole in Arlington (manchesterjournal.com) — A Sunday night crash on Route 7A near Arlington brought down a telephone pole and live wires, closing the highway through both Arlington and Shaftsbury. A Shaftsbury driver and a Manchester driver suffered suspected minor injuries, and local fire, rescue, and utility crews responded while the damaged SUV was totaled and the scene made safe.
