• Vermont school district merger committee groupings finalized (reformer.com) — Wardsboro families should know that their River Valleys Unified School District, which includes Dover and Wardsboro, is part of a newly finalized Act 170 merger study group for Southwest Vermont. Committees must start meeting by Oct. 15, with recommendations due in 2027 and potential community merger votes in March 2028, so local voices will matter in shaping future school governance.
