• Hantavirus outbreak raises questions about Vermont rodent management (wcax.com) — Westminster residents may want to know that their state representative, Michelle Bos-Lun, is helping lead discussions on how Vermont should manage rodents and rodent poisons in light of national hantavirus concerns. Lawmakers failed to reach a compromise this year on limiting rodenticides in places like restaurants and grocery stores but plan to revisit alternatives next year, as officials stress that hantavirus remains very rare in Vermont.
