(webpronews.com) — Green Mountain Power's growing network of home batteries now forms Vermont's largest "virtual power plant," and some of the earliest free battery pilots targeted remote homes on single-line circuits in Windham County. The utility is also hardening rural lines in nearby towns like Brattleboro, Jamaica, Newfane, and Wilmington, cutting outages and costs while aiming to eliminate power interruptions statewide by 2030.
