ALEXANDRIA, Va. (October 20, 2026) – GYMGUYZ, the world’s largest in-home and on-site personal training franchise, has officially launched its Northern Virginia-area location and is now serving clients throughout Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties, and neighboring communities. Known for its fleet of iconic bright-red vehicles, GYMGUYZ delivers nationally accredited personal trainers, professional-grade equipment, and fully customized workouts directly to clients’ homes, offices, residential communities, and outdoor spaces, eliminating the common barriers to fitness like travel time, crowded gyms, and uncertainty about where to start.
Bringing Personalized Fitness Directly to Northern Virginia Residents
The new GYMGUYZ Northern Virginia location is owned by Daniel Ward, a longtime government contracting executive who initially planned to retire before discovering an opportunity to build a business focused on improving people's lives in the communities he calls home. After a conversation with a former colleague who had successfully transitioned into franchising, Ward began exploring business ownership and ultimately chose GYMGUYZ because of its ability to make professional personal training more convenient, accessible and personalized for people of all ages and fitness levels. Ward will operate in 10 Northern Virginia markets including Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Fairfax, Leesburg, Manassas, Middleburg, Reston and Tysons, with further plans to expand.

“I'm excited to bring Northern Virginia a fitness experience that truly meets people where they are—both literally and in their personal fitness journey,” said Ward. “Our goal is to remove the barriers that keep people from staying active by bringing professional training, accountability and encouragement directly to them. Whether someone is taking their first step toward better health or working toward their next major fitness goal, we want to help them build habits and achieve results that last.”
Ward plans to build GYMGUYZ Northern Virginia as a community-focused fitness company designed to make professional training accessible to people who may not want—or be able—to rely on a traditional gym. By meeting clients at home, at work and in their communities, the company aims to help more Northern Virginia residents make fitness a sustainable part of everyday life.
Northern Virginia Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting
To celebrate the launch, GYMGUYZ Northern Virginia will host its official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 29 at 11:30 a.m. at the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, 19301 Winmeade Drive, Suite 210.
Guests attending the grand opening will have the opportunity to meet members of the GYMGUYZ Northern Virginia training team, explore the brand’s signature red vehicles and professional-grade fitness equipment, and see firsthand how GYMGUYZ brings the workout directly to its clients. The celebration will also feature live fitness demonstrations, giveaways and prize drawings, along with information about special introductory offers available to new clients. Attendees can speak directly with trainers about their fitness goals, learn more about individual and group training options, and experience what makes the GYMGUYZ approach to fitness convenient, customized and personal. Guests who schedule a complimentary fitness assessment during the grand opening will also be automatically entered for a chance to win the grand prize: four complimentary individual personal training sessions.
In-Home and On-Site Fitness Designed for Every Lifestyle
GYMGUYZ Northern Virginia offers customized fitness programs for individuals, couples, families, small groups, seniors, youth and teen athletes, as well as group fitness and wellness programs for businesses, residential communities and local organizations. Programs can target strength training, cardio, weight loss and toning, sports conditioning, senior fitness, youth training, and assisted stretch. Every session is led by a nationally accredited Certified Personal Trainer and customized around the client’s goals, fitness level, schedule, and available space.
Unlike a traditional gym, GYMGUYZ brings the workout directly to the client’s home, office, residential community, or outdoor space. Trainers arrive with professional-grade fitness equipment in the brand’s signature red vehicles, allowing clients to experience a fully guided personal training session without the commute, crowds, or guesswork of a gym environment.
