Driver Dies After Crashing Into Annandale Home, No Other Injuries
The residents of the home safely evacuated, but the driver was pronounced dead.

ANNANDALE, VA — A driver died after crashing into an Annandale home Thursday morning, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police and the fire department responded to the home in the 8500 block of Little River Turnpike around 2:35 a.m. Investigations show a Subaru Legacy heading northbound on Wakefield Chapel Road continued through the intersection at Little River Turnpike and into the house.
The driver, John Carey, 66, of Annandale, was pronounced dead. Rescue personnel helped two residents out of the home, and all were reported safely out. No one else was in the vehicle.

Technical rescue crews were on scene to stabilize parts of the home.
