17th Annual Washington, D.C. Winter Restaurant Week Kicks Off Today

Foodies everywhere, rejoice! Today marks the official kickoff of Washington D.C. Winter Restaurant Week, sponsored by Destination D.C. and Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. The week ends on Jan. 23.  

Participating restaurants from across the D.C. metro area will offer fixed-price three-course meals for one week only. Lunch will cost $20.11 and dinner will cost $35.11 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert.

Patch has compiled a list of participating restaurants in Northern Virginia. Although there are none in Annandale, there are plenty in nearby Alexandria and Falls Church. Reservations are strongly recommended; many restaurants are offering free online reservations via OpenTable.com.
