6 People Displaced In Annandale House Fire
No one was injured when a fire started in the home's garage.

An Annandale family of six is displaced after a fire started in their home Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Around 8:31 p.m., Fairfax County and City of Fairfax crews responded to the home in the 4100 block of Elizabeth Lane. Crews found smoke throughout the home and quickly put out a fire in the basement level garage. No one was injured.
All six residents were home when the fire happened. Smoke alarms had activated, and all safely evacuated before help arrived.

Fire investigators determined the cause of the blaze was an electrical event in an outlet powering a space heater. Damage estimates are $90,000.
The family has declined Red Cross assistance.
